A powerful red wine from the sun-kissed south of Moldova, in the Comrat region. The Saperavi grape – a teinturier variety of Caucasian origin from Georgia, cultivated here in southern Moldova – reveals itself in the 2022 vintage with a deep, almost impenetrable colour. Its intense bouquet unfolds aromas of dark berries, plum, chocolate and clove, while on the palate it is powerful and full-bodied, carried by lively acidity and a dense tannic structure. An ideal companion to hearty meat dishes, braised roasts, grilled fare and spicy cheeses. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C.
